Failing Class 11 in India usually means either repeating the year or appearing for compartment exams to be promoted to Class 12. It can delay your progress by a year but doesn't necessarily prevent future studies.

Repeating the grade is completely your option...But the chances of procession depends on which stream you are pursuing.

As I am a science student I can tell you what's gonna happen if you were a student of science.But I have no idea for other streamd.

If you are a science guy chill brother having the fear to fail class 11 is NORMAL..If you fail definitely the school will conduct re evaluations those are generally easy and you will be promoted.And mark my words in class 12 you will get time to revise class 11 portions as no one has ever had a clear concepts of the chapters in class 11.And man if you still unable to clear it just change your school and enroll where direct class 12 admission system is prevailing.Never waste one year in your life in repeating +1.No one knows if you pursue competitive exam you might need to take a drop that fine but for +1 it will be a foolish act.
P.s. I passed class 11 with 65% only whereas I was the class topper in class 10:)
