Hello there,

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NEET UG exam while pursuing BMLT .

Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG

  • Qualification: You must have passed 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) with the required percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC, 50% for General).

  • Age: You must be at least 17 years old by 31st December of the admission year . There is no upper age limit .

  • Attempts: No attempt limit for NEET UG.

Since you are in first year of BMLT , you can continue your NEET preparation alongside your studies and attempt the exam in the coming years. If you qualify, you can leave BMLT and join MBBS .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Being a BMLT student does not affect your eligibility for NEET UG. You can apply if you meet the required criteria, including completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with fulfilling the age requirements. Your BMLT studies do not interfere with your NEET UG qualification.
