You have to write entrance exam in your state to apply for state colleges and for all India colleges you have to qualify JEE exam

After completion of 12th you need to take entrance exam to enter into engineering college.. For entering into NITs you need to clear JEE Mains with below 5k rank to get top NITs. After clearing NITs you need to take JEE Advanced for getting seat in IITs. There are several deemed universities which conduct their own entrance exams. In addition each state have their own entrance exams for local engineering college

Hello buddy

There is a exam called jee mains you can give that exam and then you will get admission in any of the NIT and IIT and any other engineering college in India so it's a good choice but for that you have to prepare from the 11th itself so that you can qualify that exam the exam is not that much easy so you have to prepare much for that exam

Best luck for the future
