Hello Agrim, greetings to you. Choosing a particular line after you 12th one of the most important decision in your life. I would suggest that until and unless you are completely dedicated towards music, you should not choose music as your main career. Perhaps, if you really want to pursue both engineering and music together, then foloowing are the few colleges,

  • Academy of Art university, San Francisco
  • Bridge Music Academy
  • Chandigarh School of Music

GOOD LUCK.

If your passion is in music you can join any music academy or if you are interested in musical instrument.

The instrumental engineering  is not at all a option for you because it involves enginewring of instrument not about the music

If your interest is in music you must opt for music academy train yourself as you can do in your part time   ,after your study.

Train your skills in music.

SOUND ENGINEERING/AUDIO ENGINEERING is present in various colleges as well as IIT's persued by many students. Audio engineering deals with all aspects of sound and its manipulation for television, radio, music nd other audio/video presentations. It provides methods to understand methods to record and manipulate sounds. If you persue audio engineering, you will find employment in music industry, film and television industry, game development industry, recording studios, broadcasting networks, animation industry and so on. some of the positions or roles of an audio engineer are sound engineer, broadcast technician, audio engineer, transmission or mixing engineer, and sound editor. However, if you are interested in only a specific area under audio engineering, you can persue a short term specialised course in that area. For instance, certificate, diploma and PG diploma courses are available in sound mixing, sound editing, audio recording, audio production and multimedia. The following are some courses related to audio engineering if you are not going for audio engineering itself as you graduation:* IIT KHARAGPUR offers M.Tech is media and sound engineering. The admission is based on your performance in GATE. (i.e., after your graduation) * Palette multimedia, Hyderabad offers diploma in audio and video editing. * Satyajit Ray film and television institute, Kolkata offers a post graduate diploma in CINEMA(three years, full time) and audiography as specialisation. If you have any more queries, please ask.
