Hi! I am interested in giving GATE 2021 in the biomedical stream. I've found the syllabus on the website but there are no suggestions for books or prep materials listed. Could you please suggest some preparation material to start from the basics. I graduated from Mechanical in 2011.

Hello,

You can refer these books :

Books for General Aptitude

  • Quantitative Aptitude by Harianth

  • Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by R.S. Aggarwal

  • Objective English for Competitive Examinations by Hari Mohan Prasad, Uma Rani

Books for Biomedical :

  • Principles of Biomedical Engineering by Sundararajan

  • Introduction to Biomedical Engineering by Domach

  • Fundamentals of Biomedical Engineering by G.S Sawhney

Solve Analytical, Optical and Biomedical Instrumentation questions from previous years Instrumentation Engineering papers and refer instrumentation engineering books.

I hope this helps.
