Hello,

There won't be any problem if the place of surname and first name is interchanged. As long as the spellings and the details are true you will not face any issue. You have filled according to the format in the GATE candidate portal so you do not have to worry about that. Make sure that you have given the correct details.

Hi, Actually, in my class X and class XII mark sheets, my mothers full name is mentioned i.e Name+Surname, But in my BTech degree and mark sheet my mothers first name is only written (no surname) will it create a problem in visa for higher studies in the US.
