For top IIMs like IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIMK, IIML, IIMI, target a percentile of 95+ at least which means 160+ score.
If you get around 98+ percentile that would be strengthening your chance.
However, remember, with changing trends merely scoring a good percentile is not guaranteeing a seat in B-schools.
One really needs to be extraordinary to outdo the other candidates, as the colleges seek toppers, passionate people who have done or achieved something remarkable in life so far.

If you have an academic diversity, that's an even more added advantage. In that case , coupled with your category, a percentile of 90+ will fetch you good calls from all the IIMs.
