Software development needs a good knowledge of coding but it is not that tough as competitive programming.you can learn it easily,all you need to do is start from basics .First you need to learn some basics of anyone language you prefer like c++,java or python which can be learnt from many reputed websities courses like EDX,Coursera ,Udacity and many more.Then start with the HTML,CSS ,Javascript and bootstrap these are the most basic and very easy to learn .Starting with a small project you will learn and then going to big development projects.I hope it helped
