Hi, If a student who has failed his class 12th boards in 2026 and reappeared again as a private candidate in 2027 and gave all his 5 subject theory exams again given he cleared all his practical examinations in 2026. Will they be eligible for BITSAT 2027 if they just sat for 5 theory exams and fulfilled the percentage criteria? What will be the year of passing for a candidate who's marked as Essential Repeat? And which marksheet will be considered?

You will have to reappear for the entire Class 12th boards in 2027. Also, reappear for all the theory and practical exams in 2027, even if you have cleared the practical in 2026. To be eligible for BITSAT 2027, candidates will need their Class 12 2027 results.

Thankyou for the confirmation. However cbse does not allows any practical re examinations if a candidate already passed them. So I have no choice but to sit for theory exams. Cbse's clause says the practical marks are carried forward and I hope so bitsat accepts this?
