pgcet is karnataka post graduate common entrance test. The pattern goes like this. Paper is for 100 marks with two sections(1 and 2 marker questions without any negative marks).

When it comes to minimum marks allotment  25% of the total maximum marks alloted is the qualifying marks to meet the requirement.

Hence it is better to score more than the qualifying marks to meet the cutoff requirement as it varies every year due to various parameters.
