The admission in Thiagarajar College, Madurai is based on merit in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.

• A candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or University for admission in BA B.Com
• For admission in BBA a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or University.
• For admission in B.Sc a candidate must have passed 10+2 with  Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science.

The cut off will be declared by the college until then cut off is not known.
