Hi sir, I got 289 Marks in Gate 2019 in the Civil engineering branch. I belong to SC category. Is there any chance to get a seat in any NITs

Hii Sekhar,

Your marks are bit less.But as you belong from SC category you have the slight chance of getting any medium to lower ranked NITs.You can apply for private Colleges and state government colleges.You should prefer to take a year drop for the preparations.You can for Colleges on Careers360 Gate College Predictor.

Hi aspirant

Let me tell you GATE exam consists of 100 marks so there is no chance for you to get 289 marks.

If your score is 289 then it is too low for you to get colleges.Its better to prepare for the next year.Either you can take admission in private colleges but that is not a good option.

There is no chances for NITs/GFTIs/IIITs .
