The world is of all-rounders. While it is a good thing to look for specialisations, most of the success stories of designers have witnessed them switching and acing fortes. I'd strongly recommend you to look for B.Des programme in Interdisciplinary Design, where you will be able to concentrate on various aspects of design, rather than restricting to just one specialisation. 

B.Des in Interdisciplinary Design at JK Lakshmipat University is one programme, led by A. Balasubramaniam, one of the most prominent designers of India.

Animation is the technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the film is shown as a sequence. It is a long process from plotting a storyline to making a full feature film.

For automobile design you need take up an automotive design course which is way more different than animation. You need not learn animation for designing a car which seems pretty obvious since automotive design does not concern with what animation does. In this you will have to draw sketches of various automobiles and what you plan to do on that. So it is pretty different.
