SNQ quota is defined as Supernumerary quota under which students with weaker economical background are provided reservation.

All candidates whose parental income is less than Rs.4.50 Lakhs per annum will be eligible for allotment of Supernumerary Quota. Such a candidate has to get the income certificate issued by the Tahsildar for consideration for allotment under this quota. This quota of seats is open to all students irrespective of caste, category- the only criterion being the Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar.

Students under SNQ quota are waived off from their tuition fees and thus only have to pay their other fees. Although it is for all the engineering colleges but not for architect course.

Hello likhita, hope you are doing well .. the SNQ quota is being introduced by the AICTE .. it is being introduced for the weaker section group where the tution fees are less for this section of group.. it is being provided to students depending upon the weaker section whose income is very less
