Here are the steps which can help you in order to follow the mandatory procedures required for joining the US Police Force-

1. First of all you need to Submit an application.

2. You must pass a number of background checks that may include a polygraph

3. Then you have to undergo a medical examination.

4. Some counties also require a Personal Qualifications Essay (PQE)

5. Undergo a psych examination.

6. Take a reading and writing ability test.

7. Take a physical ability test.
