There is no eligibility criteria as such to appear for SAT. So yes, you can appear for the exam after 10. However, it is better to take it post 12th standard because then you would have fresh scores before you apply to your dream institute abroad. Just like the cut offs for Indian colleges change, the institutes' cut offs for SAT changes, too, although the minimum requirement may be the same. i suggest you to start preparing for SAT exam now and then attempt it after 12 th class ,....as SAT exam's score is considered for screening candidates
