If you do Btech from a top or a well reputed Institute, then you have chances of a higher salary than after completion of hotel management. But if you complete btech from a not so well established college, doing hotel management from a top/ good Institute would land you with a better salary, job security etc. So in the end your job, salary etc would depend on your capabilities and also your area of interest.
