Until 2017, admissions to the BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses were carried out on the basis of merit lists prepared by various states or Universities after they had con- ducted their own entrance examinations. However, from 2017 onwards, a number of states have started accepting NEET scores for admissions to these courses. From 2018 onwards, as per indications given by the Ministry of AYUSH admissions to all these courses at All India and state level in all colleges will be through NEET.
