as it would be more male dominating branch but don't dishearten it will also open a door to prove yourself and provide future female aspirant an idol to follow right( isn't?)

Both for girls and boys, there are plenty of exciting job opportunities both in India and abroad. A civil engineering degree prepares you for work in the construction industry as well as in the business, management and financial sectors. Some of the job roles you can go for are-

1.Building control surveyor

2.CAD technician

3.Consulting civil engineer

4.Contracting civil engineer

5.Design engineer

6.Nuclear engineer

7.Site engineer

8.Structural engineer

9.Water engineer Etc.

Remember that many employers accept applications from graduates with any degree subject, so don't restrict your thinking to the above jobs. Having a work experience is always beneficial.

The job opportunities will be totally similar to the boys section. I can assure you that. However, it will be entirely up to you to prove the companies that being a girl you are no less than a boy student in ability.

The job interviews will have one question directed to you that "Being a girl how will you handle to work hours under the sun ?" 

Give a proper answer and convince them. Then work hard and prove in the workplace.

Nobody will doubt if you have enough projects in your CV in future. :)

Civil Engineering is one of the best Career option if you pursue your degree from a good Reputated University or College. Because you will have more job opportunities and facilities. If you pursue Civil engineering from a Normal College you end up being jobless. If you want to enter into the Core Domain then IIT's and NIT's are best choice. Good Companies like L&T and some other construction Companies visit the Campus for Recruitment.
