Hello,

Even after a master’s in psychology, you’ll benefit from formal HR training, for example,

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management)
  • PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
  • CIPD (UK-based but globally recognized)
  • Short-term courses: HR management, talent acquisition, payroll, labor law, etc. (Platforms: Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, edX)

And also look for internships which will give you practical knowledge. Your psychology background will especially help in conducting interviews and psychological assessments, creating wellness programs and supporting organizational change.

Hope this helps. All the best!
