Jadavpur university takes Admission through West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE), not through JEE Main exam so, JEE Main marks can do nothing for admission in jadavpur university, based on the marks obtained in WBJEE,rank is alloted to the candidate.This year WBJEE exam was scheduled on 02/02/2020.

There are two quotas for Jadavpur University- state and All India Quota

Cutoff of the Jadavpur university of the last year for computer Science branch is Bengal state Quota closing rank was General-103.
For All India Quota there is only General Quota whose closing rank was 107.
For just getting admission in jadavpur university your rank should be around 500 so that you can get any branch.

This year also similar trend will be followed if you have a domile of West Bengal then it will quite easy for you if you belong to any catogory but if you don't have a domile of bengal or you are a general bengali candidate your rank must be around 100 to get a seat in Computer Science
