There are two courses in laboratory technology. One is CMLT ie Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology. Which can be done after xii Science with PCB subjects.

Other is a post graduate courses done after graduation in microbiology or biotechnology. It is DMLT , Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Eligibility for DMLT is to have done graduation in microbiology or biotechnology with minimum 50% marks.

Fees for the course is 40-50 k per year depending on University.
