Here is the steps to become a robot scientist:-

1. Perform very well in your 10th board exam.
2. Take science in intermediate and perform very well in it. try to get good percentage above 75%.
3. Appear for engineering entrance and prepare well that you will get an admission in top IITs,NITs or any other good college.
4. no matter what branch you choose, you can learn robotics but the root branch of robotics is electronics,electrical and mechanical engineering.
5. gradudate then do post graduation then do Ph.D. in robotics

you will be an robot scientist at the end. It is very easy to read out here but it is a very time taking process and in mean while some other stream may getting interesting for you.

On the part of college, you can join at any college but top colleges like  IIT is preffered as they provide real time problems to solve more than just theory to appear semesters and clear it. Many seminars and workshops and national level competitions are conducted every year at different campus of engineering colleges and IITs/NITs and top colleges perform very well as they know how to deal with real life challenges.
