How can I change my caste category from GEN EWS to General while reporting in JOSSA counciling ?

Hi Candidate,

The category choosing is very important for getting the seat in JOSAA counselling rounds, as there are thousands of students participating in these rounds, and your category can get you a better chance than other candidates in the same selection criteria.

While reporting at the centre, you have to show your proper Category Certification to ensure that you are a valid candidate for the alloted seat. Moreover, you are not allowed to change your category at the Verification Center if you have failed to provide a legitimate caste certificate as then the official has the power and the right to cancel your application, because you were allotted a Category seat which you have no proof of belonging.
