this is a very common problem among students these days. But all you need to do is focus on your goal. first thing you need to do is set targets. For example set a target for completing 1 chapter in a day. Also your targets should be achievable, you cannot make a target of doing 5-6 big chapters in a day which you have not even started yet. Now the important thing is to achieve that target ,you need utmost focus to do that. Just make yourself understand that you have a complete this before day end and if you will complete this early you can continue with other things like hanging out or whatever. Make sure not to sleep unless you complete that target. This trick really helps. Also schedule your targets in a right way so that you can complete your syllabus.

It all depends on what your priorities are. If you prioritize studies over other things, then there'll be no distractions. Focus on your goals and do what is necessary for the at the hour.

You can also start meditation to increase your focus ability. It helps a lot in avoiding distractions. Make a schedule for yourself and stick to it.
