You have not mention in which course you want to take admission. Admission criteria is different for different courses. If you want to take admission in engineering branches you have appear for either west Bengal joint entrance examination or jee mains. You have to come up with a good rank to take admission in jadavapur university. The cutoff are different for every branches. So, by these you can get admission in jadavapur university.

If you want jadavpur university, then for that you have to crack the WBJEE exam.
Wbjee exam is held for the candidates who want to take admission in government colleges, state universities amd private colleges of west bengal.

If you are from outside west bengal, then for you there is no goverment colleges to take admission. You can only get admission in state universities and Private colleges.

Now, for jadavpur university, you have to score atleast more than 130 marks out of 200 to get admission and a good branch in jadavpur university.
Because for other state students there are only 10% seats reserved. So you have to score a very god marks atleast above 130 to get admission in jadavpur university.
