For opportunities in Public Sector Banks, you should appear for exams like IBPS PO. To be eligible for IBPS PO, you need to be a graduate in any stream. You should have completed your Graduation in any stream from a recognised University. There is no specific discipline that you should be completing your Graduation in. It can be BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Tech, etc. You should have computer proficiency. Then there is State Bank of India Probationary Officer Entrance exam. This is a written exam followed by a round of Interview. Now Private sector banks like ICICI have their own entrance examinations.
