According to the latest guidelines from the Veterinary Council of India, BVSc course duration should be of 5.5 years divided into 10 semesters and 1 year of compulsory internship.
Admission in the undergraduate Veterinary course is based on the entrance exam of neet and also  conducted by some colleges on their own.

However, to be eligible for the entrance examination, one must have a minimum score of 50% in class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects.
