The BHMCT question paper comprises of 150 multiple choice questions. The mode of the exam is English only and the time duration of the test is two and a half hours. There is negative marking. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and four marks will be added for every correct answer. 

Candidates who are taking the test must prepare according to the IPU CET BHMCT syllabus 2019 so that they get the idea about the necessary and unimportant topics. Go through the syllabus thoroughly and prepare accordingly for the exam. The divisions in the exam paper syllabus are listed below:

English Language and Comprehension - 25%

General Awareness - 20%

Logical and Analytical Ability including Computer awareness - 30%

Knowledge of accounts/commerce and science  - 20%
