To apply for M.Phil or Ph.D. programmes at Sikkim University, candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in a relevant postgraduate degree. The selection process includes a written entrance test and an interview. However, candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR-NET/ ICAR-NET/ ICMR-NET/ DBT-NET/ SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship, or M.Phil are exempted from the written test.
