For admission here in Astrophysics you need to qualify INAT Examination.

The degrees in the Physics / Electronics / Astronomy or Applied Mathematics branches of the B.Sc or M.Sc degrees are eligible to give the Examination INAT. Based on the applications and referee assessments, a subset of the candidates will be short-listed and invited to take the written test. INAT Examination is only conducted in Pune, at the university campus.

This is one of the best Institute for science so try to get a chance there, and if you get that you'll be lucky.
