Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology programmes are offered at the Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. GRIET admits students to B.Tech and M.Tech programmes by creating a cut-off list based on entrance exam results. EAMCET (UG), PGECET OR GATE are the entry tests that are taken into consideration (PG).

The EAMCET scores are used to determine admission to the GRIET B.Tech programme. Candidates must pass the EAMCET exam in order to be considered for admission. The college administrators announce the cutoff. The cutoff is represented by open and closed ranks.

Students must have a valid PGECET/GATE score and have completed a B.Tech/B.E from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.
