Dear student,

General knowledge is not learned. Remembering of general knowledge completely depends on the memory power of your brain and the style of reading gk.
Many candidates learn and by heart general knowledge like history. But in fact if you will read general knowledge like a comic book or like a story with interest, then it will be no big deal to remember the gk. It will be memorized in your mind.
And if you want to read the general knowledge then, there are many magazines and gk books for your convenience available in market.

General knowledge is not current affairs. General knowledge means the knowledge which in general is known to everyone. General knowledge includes history, civics from late past centuries, economics, current affairs, national and international knowledge, knowledge about different types of species, etc. Also reading newspapers is must for enhancement of your gk. If newspaper is not available, then there are many sites on internet which offers gk. Also there are many apps of general knowledge. And make notes of any interesting fact as per your convenience.

So, if you want to know the gk of past then for that you have to purchase a good gk book like of arihant publications, which you can easily get in some bookstore.
