Hello,

Thapar University has over 1700 seats in various engineering departments.It offers admission on the basis of JEE mains score.

Hanisha, the number of seats in BTech programme in Thapar Institute varies with the branch you choose. First of all, I would like to inform you that Thapar gives a BE degree, not a BTech one. Although they are both comparable when it comes to learning and placements.

There are around 750 seats in CSE, 225 in Mechanical, 210 in ECE, 180 in EEE and 120 in Civil engineering. It also offers other courses like Chemical engineering, Productive engineering, Biotechnology, etc. Also it has another campus in Dera Bassi. Hello there,

Thapar Institute of Technology accept admissions for B.Tech courses on the basis of merit score in jee mains.
Hence all seats are vacant as the exam is still be to held and its between 6-9th of January while it will be conducted again in April.
So if you want to take admission in Thapar Institute of Technology you will have to give jee mains examination.
