I have been to both campuses for some time and i can surely tell you.

The life in kengeri campus is pretty much limited to the campus and the shops nearbuy . It is located outside the city . There are not many places to go near the campus . The exit is also restricted for some time and hostelers have to return for bio metrics in the night. There are also very less people . The ratio for boys to girls is 30: 1 . So you would probably get bored .

The life in the main campus is quite good . The campus is very lively all the time. There are about 16000 people there . It is located in the heart of bangalore. There are a lot of places you can go to nearbuy. There is forum mall. Then there is koramangla . There are a lot of places for some good food . You would never get bored there . There are a lot of places inside the camus for food . There are a lot of places for some of the best parties . You would truly enjoy living there .
