The admission procedure for polytechnic is as follows.

1. your 10th Mark is Compulsory with Passed Certificate

2.Go to Good Polytechnic Colleges

3.Submit your Mark Suppose if your Percentage is 85 % above .immediately

they will admit you

4.OR Less than 70% They will ask some Donation .its depends on the college

5.Finally Choose Your DEPARTMENT LIKE...... ECE ,I.T ,CSE ,MECHANICAL OR AUTOMOBILE.

Eligibility for Polytechnic courses:

10Th must be completed by you with at least 40% marks from a recognized Education board.You must not have any backlog left in 10Th.Your age must not be more than 23 years.
or
ITI course must be pursued by youfrom a recognized ITI Institute.You must have passed your course with at least 33% marks.Your age must not be more than 23 years.
or
12Th must be completed by you in any Vocational category courses from a recognized Vocational Institute.You must have completed your Vocational course with at least 33% marks.
or
12Th must be completed by you with PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Maths) from a recognized Education Board.12Th must be completed by at least 40% marks.


NOTE:On the basis of 10Th you will get admission in 1st year of Diploma course,whereas on the basis of ITI or 12Th with Vocational,PCM you will directly get admission in 2nd year of Diploma course.


To get admission in any Government Polytechnic College,you need to get a good rank in theDiploma Entrance Test.If you% in 10Th is more than 80%than you can go for admission under" Direct Entry"mode.Under this mode you will get direct admission in Government Polytechnic on the basis of your % in 10Th without any Entrance test.I also had got admission in Government Polytechnic because my % in 10Th was 86%,so i got direct admission there without any Entrance test.



Fee Structure of Polytechnics:

->For Government Polytechnics: Rs 15K to 18K

->For Private Polytechnics: Rs 20K to 25K.
