To take admission in Government Women's Polytechnic Patna, you have to apply for DCECE exam which conducts polytechnic engineering courses admission.

The eligibility criteria for diploma engineering(PE) is candidate needs to have passed Class X exam conducted by Bihar board or any other equivalent exam with minimum 35% marks. Candidates who are appearing in Class X exam in the conducting year may also apply.

The courses offered by this college are architectural assistantship, eletrical engineering, computer science engineering, modern office, and library and information science.
