If you're thinking about pursuing your engineering from ADIT, it's fair enough to assume that you're looking for colleges in Gujarat.

You can say that ADIT falls in tier 2 of engineering colleges in Gujarat along with GCET, BVM, SCET, CHARUSAT, VGEC, LDRP, etc. Whereas tier 1 comprises of NIRMA, DAIICT, SVNIT, IITGN, DDU, MSU, LD, PDPU, etc.

Specifically talking about ADIT, it's the sister institute of BVM and GCET, all three have more or less the similar environment and system except BVM because of it's GIA funding. ADIT is located slightly away from the main city but almost all facilities are available in its distant campus as well.

Regarding academics, it's comparatively lenient to GCET and stricter than BVM (GIA). But it's nowhere as hectic as DDU or NIRMA, you will easily be able to get through it along with enjoying your engineering or college life. Attendance is not a matter of life and death, you shall just do fine by maintaining it in the 50-60% bracket. The staff is friendly enough to accommodate you in the setting and knowledgeable enough if you really want to study hard. The boy-girl ratio in the ADIT campus is almost 65:35, with a women's engineering college in the same campus.

Placements- Depending upon your branch companies arrive, can only specify about the Computer-IT branch here. You have a chance to get recruited in major names like TCS, IGate, L&T infotech, etc along with other 20-30 local or not so famous ones as well. It's the same for almost all tier 2 colleges, better ones arrive only in tier 1. Positive aspect is that almost everyone interested if deserving, gets placed, it's a virtual 100% placement.

Both regarding engineering and placements, it's decent. Just observe the cutoffs of other institutions, usually they give the correct idea about what college is better. ADIT can definitely be considered as one of the better engineering colleges in Gujarat, safe bet.

Hi there
That's a difficult question. Because engineering is not a spoon feeding course, like the ones what you have experienced till now. So there is no need for comparison as per your query. Just work and study hard and you'll succeed
