HOW IS THE PERCENTILE CALCULATED?
A candidate’s percentile score depicts the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or lower than the candidate. For example, if a candidate has scored 87%ile, it means that 87% of the candidates that attempted the examination either scored the same as the candidate or lower.
For each session of JEE Main 2019 January, the raw score of each candidate will be the summation of the marks scored by them in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Along with a cumulative percentile score for JEE Main 2019 January, separate percentile scores for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be calculated as well.
