Let us say you are from x board

You score 90% marks

Your board percentile is 95

You score 180 in jee mains

Your jee main percentile comes out to be 98

Now B1 is the score of the candidate with percentile 95 in jee mains

B2 is the score of the guy from board x who amongst people from board x has got a percentile 95 in jee main

The formula is simple, but pretty worthless

There is only one rank given for each student that is All India Rank(AIR). No state ranks are given to the students in jee mains.
