The college has a capacity of 100 MBBS seats which is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognized by Medical Council of India. Students are admitted through NEET. The college is also affiliated by State Medical Faculty (SMFWB) for conducting para medical courses as per their syllabus. There are 70 para medical seats and these are filled with students screened by entrance examination conducted by SNFWB. The facilities of the institute are built on a huge campus of 32 acres where the complexes with independent location exist. These are Academic Building, Hospital Building, Hostels, Residences for Faculty and staff, Indoor and Outdoor play arena including 2 large football grounds, Gymnasiums,. Outdoor and indoor sports and games facilities, Diagnostic and Clinical services and pathological investigation laboratories.
