Hey !

Firstly coming to studies , then many of the top colleges of india like DY PATIL COLLEGE , BHARTI VIDYAPEEETH etc are in pune only.  There might be some obvious reason for this. And the most obvious reason is good studies in pune.

And since this place is a student hub for college going students, every place considers the interests of a college going students. Also , every one needs a cafe or a place to chill and relax. So , pune has a lots of such places. You will never miss those places in pune.

So , overall it is a good place for studying , chilling out and relaxing.
