Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune (SIMC) features in the top ten Mass Communication institutes in India. It offers MBA in Communication Management, M.A. in Mass Communication (Journalism) and M.A. in Mass Communication (Audio- Visual). For MBA in Communication Management, it offers four specialisations: Brand Communication, Public Relations, Media Management, Marketing and Media Analytics. SIMC gives admission through SNAP test.

As far as CAT is concerned, work experience matters but isn't the sole determining factor. Some institutes give weightage to it, some don't.
