Hello

Software engineering is  the subset of CSE

Basically in CSE you study programming ,networks ,architectures ,little bit od embedded system and electronics...but in software engineering you only study programming..development of software...

This is differences in this two branches

Feel free to ask...

Good Luck...

Hello Joseph,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, software engineering is the advance version or you can say upgraded version of CSE. You can only persue software engineering after doing bachelors in CSE and taking masters in software engineering. Meanwhile software engineering can be persued by masters degree. Normally computer science deals with understanding and developing the program while software engineering deals with building and maintaining software.

So hope you understood the difference between software engineering and computer science engineering(CSE).

Hope this helps you, feel free to ask any kind of query. Thank you.
