It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. It boasts of a good infrastructure and well qualified faculty. It has a 600 bed hospital. It would be important to mention that in 2015, MCI had cancelled the permission for admission which was reinstated in 2016.
