Well placement does not depends on MCA degree. Its depends on Institute from where you have done your post graduation.

Minimum usually lands around 3–3.5lpa, being offered by TCS, Wipro, Accenture, cognizant, Infosys. The overall average is generally near by 7–8lpa. Maximum had no limit. It's purely skill based. By college placement it may shoot upto 11–15lpa. But if you're good in coding you can go for off campus placements, which are generally good, and get placed for as good as 20lpa as well.

Also, you might be eligible for engineering placements but only if the hiring company allows it.
