Asansol engineering college is very good to study and and in terms of placement this college is great. Placement status is good too but not for all the streams, IT CSE ECE are getting good jobs. Mechanical and Civil student is suffering. In general, the packages go from 3 lacs to 10 lacs.
On and average all the students get a chance. This is depends on students how he or she perform in exams.

Hello,
TCS being the mass recruiter of AEC, it has recruited 143 students this year. The number has dropped a little bit from the last year. In Instrumentation branch  the placement records is 6 out of 25 students have been placed in TCS and 1 has been placed in TVS motors. Apart from  TCS, there are few IT companies which has taken a handful of students like mindtree, virtusa. Few students have also been placed in core companies. So overall record of placement this year is so-so. It has dropped a bit from previous years but if you compare with other private colleges of same grade as AEC, then I would say it is not a disappointing record too.
