The placements at IIIT kancheepuram is average. Cse and electrical branches are somewhat better in placements. The  average salary package was 17LPA.  here the placements are improving yearly and the infrastructure is also good.according to IIIT kancheepuram placements 2019,total 37 companies are visited the campus. IIIT Kancheepuram has good placements with companies Amazon, Apollo Tyres, Ashok Leyland, Daimler, Flextronics, Forbes Marshall, HCL, IBM and Larsen and Toubro visiting the campus. The placement records show that the institute is growing every year. In the year 2019, the 37 companies visited the campus which recruited 137 students. The highest salary was recorded to be 20 LPA and the average salary was 17.54 LPA. Last year total 33 students were placed from Computer Science Engineering branch. The placement trend has been increasing in the past few years.
