NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. To qualify in NEET, whether it is for MBBS,BDS, Ayush or Veterinary courses, the qualifying score remains the same. This also applies to BAMS. To qualify in NEET, you should score a minimum of 50 percentile of the top NEET score. It is 50 percentile for General Category and 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. This is the formula for qualifying in NEET. This is also called the cut off. Now cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, it was 107-133 for OBC,SC,ST and 134-701 for General Category. This year you might see a 15-25 mark fluctuation in the cut offs.
