After submitting the request for changes in Aadhar card, it may take up to 90 days for making changes in the Aadhar Card including name. You can download your Aadhar card online once your request for changes is accepted. This information is taken from unique identification authority of India.

If you have visited the Aadhar Centre and enrolled to get your name updated then it takes about 14-21 days for the updated aadhar to be available for download or if you have opted to receive it in mail then the mail order will be issues after 21 days.
